This bracelet is made with ten of my lampwork hand-shaped nugget beads.
The beads are a mix of deep pink, purple and mauve with a bluish hazy cloudiness to them. this cloudy haze can be seen best in the second photo.
The bracelet is named 'Amortentia' after the love potion in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The nugget beads have an almost opalescent feel to them and they flash yellow, pink and blue as the light hits them. Have a look at this Instagram post to see a video of the bracelet which captures the way the light plays with the glass beads.
Between the nugget beads are purple crystal glass rondelles and I've also added some Japanese glass seed beads in a pinkish purple.
The glass beads are about 12mm diameter.
The beads are strung on high quality, strong, nylon-coated stainless steel beading wire and the bracelet fastens with a powerful magnet clasp. The bracelet also has a safety chain.
Note: Magnetic closures can affect pacemakers, other implanted medical devices, and analogue wrist watches so please bear this in mind. I don't know why but apparently pregnant women should also avoid magnets. When opening the clasp, slide the magnets apart rather than pulling them apart or you will weaken or damage the bracelet.
The bracelet will fit a wrist that measures up to seven inches. I have a 'medium' six-and-a-half inch wrist and the bracelet fits me with with room to slide two fingers underneath it.
