Crochet Shawl - Petrol, Blue & Sand

This asymmetric triangular crochet shawl is made from gradient yarn ranging from a deep petrol green into an ocean blue, then sandy beige and into cream.

It can be worn draped over the shoulders as a shawl and also as a scarf.

The pattern is the Pepper shawl by Bernadette Ambergen / Berniolie.

The shawl measures approximately 170cm (67 inches) along its longest top edge (the wingspan), about 85cm (33 1/2 inches) along its shortest edge and about 150cm (59 inches) along the decorative edge.

My mannequin is a UK size 12.

The yarn is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic and it’s lovely and soft. Hand wash your shawl in cool water with a gentle yarn wash such as Eucalan and lay the shawl flat to dry.
